Initial Consultation

A comprehensive first consult that will deep dive into your concerns and nutrition goals. We’ll go over your medical history, lifestyle and eating habits to complete a thorough assessment of where you're currently at. You'll receive personalised feedback based on this assessment, and together we'll create realistic strategies that fit your unique goals and work with your current lifestyle, along with any tools, resources and recipes to help you stay on track (40 or 60 minutes).

Review Consultation

Follow-up consultations provide an opportunity to refine your plan and goals. Together, we'll review your lifestyle and eating habits and identify practical solutions to overcome any challenges you've encountered to help you move closer towards your health goals (30 or 45 minutes).

FAQs

  • Your GP may have provided with you a plan called a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP). These Medicare plans can give you a rebate, meaning lower out-of-pocket costs for seeing an Accredited Practising Dietitian. If you're entitled to a rebate, we'll issue an invoice after payment which you can then use to claim your rebate through Medicare.

The private health insurance rebate for seeing a dietitian in Australia varies depending on your health fund and the level of coverage you have. To find out exactly what you’re covered for, you should check with your health insurance provider or look at your policy details. If you're entitled to a rebate, we'll issue an invoice after payment which you can then use to claim your rebate through your provider.

  • While I have completed specialised training in the low FODMAP diet through Monash University, I recognise this approach isn't suitable for everyone. I tailor my approach based on each individual's unique needs, considering your lifestyle, background, individual preferences and severity of both gut health and mental health symptoms. My philosophy is to start with the least restrictive approach first, and where needed, incorporating gentle FODMAP modifications alongside evidence-based patterns like the Mediterranean diet when appropriate. I take a comprehensive, collaborative approach by working closely with other healthcare professionals—including psychologists and GPs—to address psychotherapy needs, stress management, and broader lifestyle factors that impact your overall wellbeing.
