Hi, I’m Meg

I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian and researcher specialising in mental health and gut health nutrition.

I help people improve their mood, energy levels and gut symptoms through evidence-based dietary strategies that support the gut-brain connection. While based as a dietitian in Geelong, I work with people Australia wide via telehealth.

Since completing my PhD in Nutritional Psychiatry with Deakin University's Food and Mood Centre, I’ve contributed to several clinical trials exploring the impact of nutrition on mood disorders and IBS. I've also co-authored over 20 scientific publications in the field.

While working in research, I found there was a real gap in accessible, practical advice that translates complex Nutritional Psychiatry research into real-life solutions. Now, I focus on filling that gap by translating the latest nutrition science on the gut-brain connection to help people better their gut and mental health.

I use a weight-inclusive approach that translates scientific evidence into practical, personalised strategies that fit within your busy lifestyle and family. Working collaboratively with clients, I focus on building sustainable habits for lasting change through a whole-body approach that addresses gut and mental health symptoms together, rather than in isolation.
